You will have the opportunity to engage with sport management professionals at local organisations such as Nottingham Forest Football Club, Nottingham Wildcats Basketball Club, and the National Ice Centre. The course employs a variety of teaching, learning and assessment methods, which ensures that you can develop comprehensive practice and an extensive portfolio along with many essential transferable skills.The course is delivered by friendly and approachable student-centred staff who facilitate a supportive, interactive, and nurturing learning environment that will help you excel and achieve your academic goals.

Entry requirements

  • Honours degree (minimum 2.1 or equivalent) in a sport or management related subject.
  • Applicants with a 2.2 honours degree will be considered on an individual basis.
  • Applicants with relevant employment experience or other relevant qualifications will also be considered.

NTU may admit a student with advanced standing beyond the beginning of a course through an assessment of that student's prior learning, whether it is certificated or uncertificated. Our Recognition of Prior Learning and Credit Transfer Policy outlines the process and options available to these prospective students, such as recognising experiential learning or transferring to a similar course at another institution, otherwise known as credit transfer.

All prospective students who wish to apply via Recognition of Prior Learning should initially contact the central Admissions and Enquiries Team, which will support you through the process.
