This directed self-study programme will allow you to explore different disciplinary perspectives and how they can be applied to public health issues in low-, middle- and high-income settings. You’ll gain a strong grasp of the core disciplines of public health, with opportunities to broaden and deepen your knowledge across many areas or pursue a more focused programme of study. It is designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills to address public health issues in diverse settings.

Entry requirements

Applicants must have at least one year of relevant work experience and a first or second class honours degree (or equivalent) in a subject appropriate to the course. Applicants who do not meet these requirements may still be admitted at LSHTMs discretion based on academic background, work experience, and references.
