Entry requirements

Students should hold a 2:1 Honours degree in a relevant undergraduate discipline and provide evidence of prior study in this area, typically through an Honours degree classified at 1st or 2:1. It is expected that students will have previous knowledge of human anatomy or physiology. Ideally, applicants will have completed a life science degree that includes modules focused on human anatomy or physiology, such as Human Biology, Biosciences, Sport and Exercise Science, or Sports Therapy. These modules should have been an integral part of the previous degree programme. Alternatively, we would consider applications from graduates of other disciplines who have either a) worked in a healthcare field and gained significant practical experience (e.g. healthcare assistant, physiotherapy assistant or those holding existing professional healthcare qualifications) or b) obtained additional qualifications where the study of human anatomy and physiology has formed a significant part of the programme of study.
