The MSc Occupational Psychology applies to any sector where people and performance matter. It is designed for psychology graduates ready to further develop their skills and look beneath the surface of workplace issues. The course is also accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS) and the Association for Business Psychology (ABP), recognising the strength of its applied, professional and research foundations; so whether you have a clear career destination in mind, or are still exploring where your psychology degree could take you, our MSc Occupational Psychology provides the ideal platform for applying psychology to real workplace challenges. The course develops your ability to analyse workplace issues, design evidence-based interventions, and evaluate their impact. You will learn to translate that knowledge into practice through live organisational consultancy work for real clients . Your lecturers will support you as you apply psychology to understand key issues and present recommendations to your client, building your skills and confidence, and providing you with practical experience. This course delivers the essential BPS-accredited foundation for Chartered status (Stage 1), but also equips you for the discipline's sheer versatility. For example, while some of our graduates continue the formal route to Occupational Psychology Chartership (Stage 2), others have chosen roles in diverse areas ranging from employee wellbeing and organisational change, to recruitment, psychological assessment, leadership development, and HR.
