Course overview

  • Join the largest and longest standing programme of postgraduate occupational hygiene in the UK.
  • Learn from a diverse teaching team our faculty consists of chartered occupational hygienists, clinically-trained doctors, occupational physicians, occupational health nurses, epidemiologists, AI technologists and statisticians.
  • Follow a syllabus accredited by the British Occupational Hygiene Society (BOHS) and become a BOHS student member.
  • Take modules that are approved by the Faculty of Occupational Medicine (FOM) London and Royal College of Physicians (London and Ireland).
  • Join an international community of professionals from various industries and contexts, including oil and gas, manufacturing, military, hospitals, chemical engineering, enforcement agencies and GP practices.
  • Learn professional skills in the investigation, evaluation and control of hazards in the workplace, including chemical, physical and biological agents.
  • Study when it suits you with our full or part-time online blended learning courses.
  • Participate in international debates about the critical challenges concerning leadership of occupational health teams at a senior management level.

    Students can also exit with PGCert and PGDip awards.
