This programme equips students with the concepts, information and skills needed to address public health nutrition priorities in a sustainable and equitable way. Students will gain extensive expertise by integrating epidemiological, dietary, public health, social and biological aspects of nutritional science, informed by the latest research. Through this, they will develop critical analytical skills, be prepared to design interventions and evaluate their impact, and support the translation of scientific evidence into effective policies and programmes-ready to tackle the global challenge of all forms of malnutrition.
Applicants should hold a degree at 2:2 level or equivalent in a relevant subject. Those without a qualifying degree may still be considered based on relevant experience. Preference is given to applicants with experience in nutrition, health, or related global nutrition work. Applicants from other backgrounds should prepare through pre-programme reading, resources are available on our new students page.
