Course summary
Nurses are an integral part of a multidisciplinary team. In some modules, you will learn and collaborate with students from other health and social care courses. This approach will help you to deliver person centred-care with an understanding of how other professionals contribute to the person's journey through health and social care services.
How you learn
This course equips you with the expertise, interpersonal skills and managerial ability needed for adult nursing. You'll study theory and practice in our modern facilities, and you'll apply your skills across 40 weeks of practice-based learning. These placements take place across the region, with leading healthcare providers. Throughout, you'll be supported by the College of Health, Wellbeing and Life Sciences, and will be assigned suitably prepared practice supervisors, and practice assessors.
