Introduction
Work towards an accredited degree in London, close to many project management delivery and consulting organisations’ headquarters. Realising your dreams has never been easier. Whether you want to work in the public or private sector or set out as an entrepreneur, studying our International Project Management course will reassure stakeholders that you have sound knowledge of project management. Our postgraduate degree meets the technical requirements of the APM chartered project professional competency framework.
We’ve designed this course with the needs of modern professional project managers in mind. It will enable you to explore project management in a range of contexts, including long-run public sector infrastructure projects and short-to-medium-term projects in private sector businesses, public sector organisations and not-for-profit organisations. The course content is balanced, with modules on research, leadership, law, innovation, change management and an understanding of the global project management environment. You’ll find there’s a practical emphasis rather than an overtly academic or theoretical approach; pivotal because the project management function is required to deliver hard and measurable results.
How you'll be assessed
We will assess your progress through coursework, group assignments, activity-based assignments, exams, and a Postgraduate Major Project. You can expect to take part in ongoing problem-solving activities, projects, and presentations to underpin exploration and exploration of sophisticated commercial, financial, legal and operational aspects of the profession and develop an effective project leadership 'toolkit'.
Careers
Career opportunities for MSc International Project Management graduates exist in the public, private and voluntary-aided sectors. Some of our alumni have gone on to be project management professionals in a range of organisations including consultancy, construction and infrastructure, retail, IT, supply chain and logistics, real estate. Some are owners of start-up consultancies, while others have gone on to doctoral studies or careers in academia.

If they have completed a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent non-UK qualification and did not achieve the required grades for entry but can demonstrate that the life/work skills would make them suitable, they should still consider applying.
