Join us to gain the solid HR and business foundation you need, with a particular emphasis on supporting companies that manage people and teams in different countries. International human resource management is especially relevant in a world where flows of people, information, goods and services across borders continue to grow.
This MSc will get you up to speed on all the relevant theories and latest HRM practices – so you can confidently support international organisations to manage their activities, and people, in a way that balances employee wellbeing with business transformation and growth.
Learn in the context of real-world issues: We’ll explore multi-faceted questions such as these, looking at organisations in different countries, including those in the Global South. Debating best practice for people management, we’ll unpick what organisations need to do to better balance the interplay between global competitive pressures, national politics and business strategy.
Set yourself up with the skills to succeed: Drawing on a mix of disciplines, including management theory, sociology, political science and comparative political economy, you’ll gain a deep insight into current economic and institutional trends, with a particular focus on helping organisations build effective and efficient teams across borders.
Study in one of the world’s leading hubs: Based in the heart of the capital, this is an inspiring learning environment for anyone with a passion for international management. London is one of the world’s leading hubs for global business and trade, and is the ideal location for expanding your knowledge, expertise and networks.
Students need to have a 2:2 honours degree (minimum of 55% overall) or equivalent international qualification in any subject area.
