What I like most about Heriot-Watt is how practical and career-focused the learning is. The lecturers are knowledgeable and supportive, and the teaching feels relevant to real-world jobs rather than just theory. The campus is calm, green, and well-maintained, which makes it a really nice place to study. I’ve also enjoyed meeting people from different countries and backgrounds, which has made my university experience more interesting and helped me grow personally. Worst aspects / improvements: Sometimes the workload can feel heavy, especially when multiple deadlines fall around the same time. I also feel that transport to and from campus could be better, particularly in the evenings, as it can be a bit inconvenient for students who don’t live nearby. Overall, Even with these small issues, my experience at Heriot-Watt has been positive, and it’s a supportive place that prepares students well for their future careers.

Living on campus is great and it was easy to get settled in but after freshers there has been little events to do on campus outside clubs.

The teaching staff is very good in teaching , they do interact well with students and make sure that they are understanding everything. The student union is also very nice, always ready to help and they do introduce new schemes for well being of students

Being an international student studying at Heriot watt university helped me tick off a big achievement out of my bucket list Helped me a lot to achieve in personal and as well as professional life.

I think most of the things are up to the mark, but i think there should be options for on campus jobs for the ppl who rlly wanna work and earn some extra buck.
