Innovation and entrepreneurship are gaining recognition as vital tools to tackle increasing complex global problems. The MSc Innovation and Entrepreneurship programme will equip learners with essential skills to emerge as capable and responsible innovators and entrepreneurs, significantly contributing to worldwide sustainability efforts.The programme will enable learners to study the essentials of entrepreneurship, exploring the journey of starting, managing, and scaling businesses, whilst integrating current insights into innovation and sustainability. With a strong emphasis on real-world application, the course offers a blend of lectures, case studies, workshops led by industry professionals, ensuring that students acquire a deep understanding of the entrepreneurial and innovation process from ideation to execution.The programme is designed to offer a blend of theoretical underpinning and industry thinking, including modules on leadership, financial management, innovative and entrepreneurial problem solving, and the importance of sustainable development, preparing students to build businesses that not only thrive economically but also contribute positively to society and the environment.
Students are required to have a 2:2 honours degree, or equivalent, in any discipline. Non-standard qualifications will be considered for entry on their own merit. Candidates should also meet the University's requirements for English.
