Studying Global Health at Queen Margaret University in Musselburgh likely offered a mix of highs and lows. On the positive side, the program's focus on health equity and social justice, the diverse student body, and the supportive, close-knit campus environment would have been enriching. The location, combining Musselburgh’s tranquility with Edinburgh’s vibrancy, and opportunities for practical learning, were also highlights. However, challenges such as balancing the broad, interdisciplinary curriculum, navigating career uncertainty in a specialized field, and coping with Scotland’s often dreary weather or the quieter campus setting might have been less enjoyable. Despite the pressures, the experience was likely transformative, blending academic rigor with personal growth.

The PAT and the course modules is the best so far but the fees schedule should be shared throughout the duration of the class not just limited for 8 months

The Uni has warm reception. Course tuitors are very friendly and are always ready to help both in social life and academically.

Queen Margaret university is such a great place to study, the staff and student union are extremely supportive. However, the pace of the modules are quite fast.It would be nice of they can slow down a bit, to make it easier for the students to catch up.

Make contact with school beforehand ! Know your course thoroughly before choosing it ! Better get informed before making a choice, so you will not regret it in the future. It is not very close to the city center but it is 5 minutes with the train to get there. And if you are lucky enough, you do not even have to pay for it !
