This innovative online programme is designed for those with an interest in pursuing a career in management or with managerial responsibilities in the healthcare sector. The programme aims to create a new generation of health and care professionals who not only understand the challenges faced by health systems and healthcare organisations but are able to instigate sustainable transformative solutions.
Students will benefit from teaching led by leading academics from Bristol Medical School and Bristol Business School, as well as frontline practitioners and health care experts. This interdisciplinary approach ensures both a comprehensive, research-driven theoretical framework and practice-oriented knowledge and management skills.
The programme will equip you with knowledge and skills to better understand and tackle the shared challenges faced by health systems across the world, including the National Health Service. It will analyse traditional and innovative models of delivering healthcare provision, and effective leadership of healthcare organisations, with a particular focus on improvements in patient safety and service quality, the use of innovations in technology and the effective allocation of financial resources

An upper second-class honours degree or international equivalent in any healthcare subject or discipline, including social work, veterinary and dental qualifications.
