Overview
The impetus for the MSc Global Healthcare Management course stems from recognition, nationally and internationally, of the unique challenges and complexities facing the next generation of managers and leaders.
The MSc Global Healthcare Management programme has been carefully designed, drawing on the expertise of health, social care and leadership and management from within Coventry University's School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health. It aims to support and give you the opportunity to enhance your personal/professional attributes, abilities to think creatively and the chance to apply entrepreneurial skills in leading the delivery of quality health and social care services so that you should be able to respond to global health challenges now and in the future.
Course information
The course has been designed for graduates in a clinical or health/social care related discipline who are interested in the management of health and social care from a global context, or those recruited to senior leader apprenticeship roles within the sector.
The course has been structured to allow you the chance to embrace and integrate knowledge and skills from the fields of health, social care, leadership and management, which can influence and impact the provision of future health and social care services across the globe. The part-time programme will usually be delivered across two years (six semesters) but can be undertaken for up to five years. All modules listed are mandatory.
You will study a range of modules that provide you with an opportunity to develop a detailed understanding of leadership and management, combined with examination of contemporary and global challenges within healthcare management.
