Entry requirements

Applicants are required to hold a British Psychological Society (BPS)–recognised undergraduate degree in Psychology (minimum 2:1) or an equivalent qualification that confers Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC) of the Society. Applicants with a Psychology degree (minimum 2:1) that is not accredited by the BPS may also apply; however, to use this MSc Forensic Psychology as a Stage 1 qualification in Forensic Psychology before progressing to Stage 2 and applying for registration with the HCPC, GBC is mandatory. Such applicants would therefore need to complete a BPS-accredited conversion course in Psychology. Alternatively, applicants holding a BPS-accredited undergraduate degree in Psychology with a 2:2 classification will be considered based on a successful interview.
