Define the Future
The MSc in Financial Technology (MFT), with optional internship*(we do not guarantee internships) is a 12/16-month specialist, Master’s level course with an innovative and interdisciplinary curriculum that will produce professionals with skills highly sought after by financial industry firms.
Students will learn about Fintech ecosystem players, disruptive Fintech business models, the use of emerging technologies, various partnership models and the regulatory landscape. It will enable students to develop sufficient skills to work effectively with IT, AI, data science and domain experts to solve contemporary business problems and develop the relevant programming skills about algorithms to solve specific problems in the Banking industry. Students will develop a good understanding of the changing nature of finance and explore future trends like Web 3.0, Metaverse, Decentralized Finance, NFTs.
Curriculum
The curriculum has been designed to enhance employability at all levels of study. The MSc in Financial Technology is an innovative and interdisciplinary programme that aims to fulfil the skills gap and market demand in the FinTech industry by equipping students with the most in-demand skills relevant in the sector. Although the programme is finance focused, given the wide-ranging applications of data analytics, the students will gain skills that are easily transferrable to a wide range of other industries, including e- commerce, hospitality, retail, pharmaceutical and media.
