Gain a solid grounding in the scientific principles behind environmental management issues and participate in field- and laboratory-based research projects with our MSc Environmental Management programme. With this interdisciplinary course, you’ll be taught at both the University of Reading’s Department of Geography and Environmental Science and School of Agriculture, Policy and Development, taking advantage of outstanding teaching environment and modern facilities. Your studies will cater to a range of interests and career destinations, including modules that relate to: contaminated and urban environments the implications of, and solutions to, environmental change issues affecting the management of agricultural and rural environments.
Normally an undergraduate honours degree (2:2 or above) in geography, environmental science, environmental studies, ecology, agriculture or a related field. Applicants from social science backgrounds such as economics or law may be considered. If you have no first degree but do have equivalent experience, you may also be considered.
