Electrical and electronic engineering are the foundation of 21st century innovations: from digital communications to robotics systems, from sustainable energy to smart environments. With the MSc Electrical and Electronic Engineering from GCU, you'll develop the skills to work at the forefront of these exciting fields. Glasgow Caledonian's School of Science and Engineering has almost three decades' worth of graduates in the Electrical and Electronic Engineering field and this master's degree will produce critical thinkers for the industry. This course is accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology on behalf of the Engineering Council as meeting the requirements for Further Learning for registration as a Chartered Engineer. Candidates must hold a CEng-accredited BEng/BSc (Hons) undergraduate first degree to comply with full CEng registration requirements. As a master's student, you're encouraged to join the IET and participate in activities that are frequently hosted by Glasgow Caledonian. Involvement in the activities of the engineering institutions is an important aspect of career development for you as a student engineer, especially from the point of view of the eventual attainment of Chartered Engineer status.
