As a result, business engagement continues to grow with the adoption of digital marketing strategies. Businesses need savvy digital marketeers who can support growth and protect brand values. Digital marketing is one of the fastest growing in-demand skills. It will see a 6% increase in growth - higher than the average job growth rate - by 2032 (source: Forbes 2024). Our Masters in Digital Marketing and Brand Management gives you the skills employers need. We combine a strong understanding of traditional marketing with digital practice. The course has a specialist focus on brand management in national and international contexts. A fast-paced and ever-evolving industry We work with industry leaders to ensure our teaching stays up-to-speed with the latest techniques. Network with guest lecturers from the digital marketing sector, such as The Media Shop Scotland. The course is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM). Students can join the Stirling Marketing Society. Gain practical experience Practical knowledge is a key strength of this digital marketing Masters. Our approach is about giving you opportunities to apply academic learning to workforce situations. You’ll collaborate with organisations that use digital marketing and brand management strategies. These include not-for-profit, third sector and small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs). There are opportunities to work on a consultancy project with a business over the summer. Students have recently worked on projects with: Strathearn Strategic Consulting Stirling Albion Football Club EASA Training Ltd Snowsports Scotland Chartered Institute of Marketing accreditation Our MSc Digital Marketing and Brand Management is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM). CIM is the world’s leading professional marketing body. The accreditation counts towards the CIM Professional Diploma in Marketing. There are three 20-credit modules in Semester 1, which will provide you with the key frameworks and relevant knowledge in Digital Marketing and Brand Management alongside an understanding of contemporary practice in the important area of Text Analytics. In Semester 2, you’ll take two compulsory modules plus one optional module. You’ll practice the quantitative and qualitative Data Analysis Techniques required in marketing, and discuss current thinking and practice relating to the Consumer and User Experience. Additionally you can choose to study either Omnichannel Marketing or Visual Communication Design to improve your knowledge and awareness in these areas. Over the summer, you'll then complete the course by showcasing your learning through a business Consultancy Project in the area of branding and marketing. Develop your careers skills with our Flying Start Leadership Programme We go beyond textbooks and lecture rooms to focus on your personal and professional development. Flying Start will help you develop practical career skills such as effective public or conflict management.
