The facilities at USW Newport Campus are brilliant - we have access to the latest technology and industry practices. However, the student life at Newport Campus is very dull - events rarely take place in Newport, and it feels like outside of the campus there aren't many student social interactions.

A brilliant site with well-maintained facilities, including lots of course-specific equipment available to students. It could be improved by an increased number of clubs and societies. As the Newport site is not the university's main site, there is a limited number of them.

Best Aspects: • Academics & Teaching: Engaging courses, supportive lecturers, and well-structured learning. • Facilities: Well-stocked libraries, good study spaces, and useful labs. • Course Structure: Balanced theory and practical learning with fair assessments. • Support: Helpful tutors, accessible office hours, and useful academic resources. Worst Aspects / Areas for Improvement: • Lack of Clubs & Societies: Few extracurricular options, making it harder to meet people. • Limited Social Life: Not enough university events or social spaces to connect outside academics. Suggestions for Improvement: • More funding and promotion for student societies. • More university organised social events. • Better communication about existing activities. • More informal student spaces for socialising.

I love it! Nothing else to say there really. Being able to come here, from another country and just explore the different cultures and language is an amazing opportunity to learn something new.
