You’ll learn how to manage construction projects of all sizes successfully and sustainably. The programme covers the technical, managerial and entrepreneurial topics relating to complex construction projects. You’ll develop your research skills by completing a dissertation on a construction topic you want to explore further, supported by our academic staff. Designed and delivered by a multi-disciplinary team of leading academics, the course is supported by input from real-world industrial practitioners. We have many years’ experience in environmental and civil engineering postgraduate education.When you graduate, you will be highly skilled in efficient project management techniques covering all aspects of onsite construction and be able to overcome the challenges that construction management entails.The programme can be studied full-time for one year or part-time over two years.
Applicants should have: At least a lower second class (2:2) honours degree or equivalent qualifications in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, Construction Management and other construction related disciplines. Applicants with non-standard qualifications will be considered on an individual basis, determined by prior study, work experience, professional qualifications, and references.
