This programme explores the use of health technologies to improve healthcare experiences and outcomes and the sustainability of health technology adoption to effect service transformation. The programme themes of transformation, user-centred approach, and innovation run through modules making up this programme of study. This is achieved through focussing specifically on the following:The need to consider implementation issues to successfully effect service transformation.The importance of a user-centred approach in which user considerations are placed at the centre of technological shifts to avoid healthcare exclusion.Innovation and entrepreneurship in health technology development and application.On completing this programme, you will have been given opportunities to gain an appreciation of the value of education to society and to you as an individual. You will be given the opportunity to develop many valuable practical skills such as the ability to collect, analyse, interpret, and understand data and information.
