The MSc by Research degree comprises three taught 15-credit units, to be determined in collaboration with your supervisor based on your previous academic background and the proposed research project, and a substantial 135-credit research project. The Coatings and Ceramics research programmes are part of a progressive research area within the Department we have close links with industry and research councils and we work collaboratively with them on many areas of research within the subject.
