Our MSc Business and Management course creates leaders and entrepreneurs who can thrive in a dynamic business world. We focus on key areas of business and management activity. We place a strong emphasis on entrepreneurship, innovation and strategic management. You’ll learn about social responsibility, ethical decision making and managing change. Modules also focus on marketing and accountancy. This course is ideal for those looking to start their career in Business and Management or advance their knowledge. Working with business We have strong links with industry, the public and not-for-profit sectors. We hold the Small Business Charter for engagement with local and regional enterprise. On this Masters in business management, you’ll have the chance to take part in industry visits. Opportunities to undertake consultancy projects with businesses also exist. This allows you to integrate the knowledge and skills from your course to solve a real company's business challenge. Students can also apply for an online internship or in-person industry experience through the Pagoda Project. In-person experiences can be international or UK based. There is a limited number of internships offered to students on a competitive basis. As part of your modules, you’ll also work with business on real-life projects, from briefing to solution delivery. Learn from our experts You’ll be taught by internationally recognised subject experts. You’ll have the chance to network with executives from the private, public and third sectors. This will provide you with a practical perspective on contemporary business topics. We also run a series of guest lectures and workshops. Developing business leaders of the future Working in different business settings and industries requires soft and personal skills. This Masters in business management degree will give you what is needed to manage, inspire and motivate teams.
