This master's course in Applied Social Work Practice is designed to enhance your social work skills through practical, critical, and intellectual training.

The University of Salford’s social work department has extensive links with agencies across Greater Manchester, including local authorities, not-for-profit organisations, and the voluntary sector. Collaboration with over 300 agencies ensures the course is relevant to workforce development needs.
A Bachelor’s degree with a 2:2 honours in Social Work or a professional qualification in Social Work (CQSW/DipSW) from the UK, along with current registration with Social Work England, is required. For most CPD modules, you must be currently employed and practising as a social worker in England. International social work qualifications will be considered on a case-by-case basis, provided you are eligible to register with Social Work England.
