On this course, you'll advance your knowledge of analytical chemistry, and learn how it can be applied to different industries. You gain experience and understanding of key techniques in separation sciences, including liquid and gas chromatography, atomic and molecular spectroscopy, such as atomic absorption and emission, NMR and IR and how analytical technologies can be applied to solve complex biological problems.

Throughout the course, you’ll undertake practical work and research in state-of-the-art laboratories and teaching laboratories which prepare you for industry. You gain experience and understanding of key techniques in separation sciences, including liquid and gas chromatography, and atomic and molecular spectroscopy, such as atomic absorption and emission, NMR and IR.
