MSc Advanced Materials offers the chance to get to grips with the design, development and analysis of these materials, with a multi-disciplinary approach that offers a fascinating combination of chemistry, engineering and project management.

You will be taught and supervised by research experts, most of who are at the forefront of their specialist field and who will give you support and guidance throughout your studies.
You’ll need a UK honours degree – at least a 2:2 – or the international equivalent, in a relevant materials or chemistry-related subject. We will also consider engineering graduates on an individual basis, to ensure that they have the chemistry skills required for the research project. We may also consider your application if you can demonstrate highly relevant work experience in a related field.
