This programme is designed for qualified counsellors and psychotherapists who are members of a recognised professional body and have at least one year of post-qualification practice. It is ideal for those who wish to train as clinical supervisors, deepen their expertise in counselling and psychotherapy, and enhance their critical thinking skills. If you aim to influence policy-making, commissioning, or service delivery, this course will help strengthen your practice and expand your impact in the field. To be considered for this course, you must provide: - evidence of a professional qualification in counselling or psychotherapy - evidence of membership in a recognised counselling or psychotherapy professional body - evidence of at least one year of post-qualification supervised practice Additionally: - a 2:2 Hons degree or equivalent is normally required - if you do not meet traditional entry criteria but have relevant experience, you may be eligible through the Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL) process. This process, which includes the Accreditation of Prior Certificated Learning (APCL) and the Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL), can help your work and life experience count towards entry or exemptions.
