Regulation is fundamental to accounting and finance and is a feature of many of the modules you will study. This is an exciting time in the accounting profession, as we experience a period of significant change, with standards evolving and regulatory practices being reviewed and revised. As a student on the MSc Accounting, Finance and Regulation, you will develop a deeper academic and professional knowledge and understanding of the key challenges facing the accounting profession and the wider financial sector. The accountancy team at Glasgow Caledonian University have a broad range of professional and academic experience which will enhance your learning as a student on our course. Many of the accountancy academics you will meet have experience working in practice as professional accountants, across key areas such as financial reporting, management accounting, audit and the public sector. An MSc Accounting, Finance and Regulation from Glasgow Caledonian University will provide you with the confidence and insight to develop your professional career or to undertake further postgraduate academic study.Through the MSc Accounting, Finance and Regulation you will experience deeper professional engagement with, and academic knowledge of, the key challenges facing the financial sector.
