Here at the University of Chichester, we have established a reputation for sport, exercise and health-related research and have a proven track record of excellence in teaching, research and applied sport and exercise science. Our suite of new MRes programmes allow you to learn from a team of internationally-recognised researchers as you focus on a specific research area within Sport. Your MRes studies will focus on this specific area as you work towards a significant independent research project that acts as the culmination of your studies.
Entry Requirements An honours degree at 2:1 or higher in a related discipline. This could include degrees in medicine, sport, biomedical sciences, biology, biochemistry, chemistry or physiology. In addition, candidates are required to have practical experience relating to their research question. Applicants with extensive relevant industry experience with a 2.2 in a relevant field, and applicants with a first or upper second classification in a non-specified field with work experience in a relevant environment will be referred to the programme leader for consideration. You will also be required to attend an interview. For students whose first language is not English, there is a requirement to achieve an IELTS tariff of 7 with no individual component below 6.5. International students who don't meet the entry requirements If you are an international student and do not yet meet the entry criteria for this course, you may be eligible for our International Premasters Programme. This is a one-semester programme that allows you to progress onto a masters course at the University of Chichester.
