Our MProf in Legal Practice is the next step in becoming a qualified Solicitor if you've already completed a law degree or a graduate diploma in law.
This two-year Professional Masters programme is designed for those who wish to qualify as a solicitor. It is a non-integrated Higher Level Apprenticeship (HLA) pathway, designed to deliver the Solicitor Apprenticeship qualification. The attendance detail is provided as full time this typically includes four days within your chosen law practice with one-day campus or online learning.
The MProf course will give you the additional knowledge required so you can undertake the Solicitors Regulation Authorities (SRAs) central Solicitor Qualification Exams (SQE 1 & 2). You can then qualify as a Solicitor through our Solicitor Apprenticeship programme.
The MProf provides you with an opportunity to develop your work-based skills and behaviours – the ‘solicitor competencies – required of a solicitor in legal practice and provides an accelerated route to qualification through the Solicitor Apprenticeship.
