Course overview We offer two types of research degree: an MPhil or a PhD – in any of the disciplines represented in our department, including social policy, criminology and sociology. Course highlights In the School of Social Policy and Society, we offer much more than a degree. You are expected to have a first-class or upper second-class Honours degree. Relevant subjects include social policy, sociology, and criminology. Your post-qualification experience, including any professional qualifications and relevant work experience, will also be taken into account when your application is considered.
