We conduct world-leading psychology research. Research is a key priority for the School of Psychology. We collaborate with academics across the world. According to the most recent Research Excellence Framework, 96% of LJMU's psychology, psychiatry and neuroscience research is considered world-leading or internationally important. Staff in the Research Centre for Brain and Behaviour carry out high-quality research in a range of areas such as developmental psychology, human factors, cognition, health psychology, consciousness and substance abuse.
You will need a Masters degree with a research dissertation in a relevant subject. In addition to the specific entry requirements listed, we also welcome applications from those with non-standard qualifications who can demonstrate knowledge, experience, and skills developed in the workplace or other setting relevant to the programme of research.
