The MPhil/PhD Philosophy offers you the opportunity to undertake an intensive study of a topic in Philosophy of your own choosing, and to make an original contribution to scholarly understandings of your subject.While the emphasis is on your independent research, you will receive guidance from your team of academic supervisors who have expertise a range of subjects in Philosophy, with particular strengths in the history and philosophy of science, ethics, the philosophy of religion, the philosophy of mind, moral philosophy, metaphysics and aesthetics.
