With a strong emphasis on applied macroeconomics, econometric methods, modern theories of banking and finance, and monetary economics, this course will build on your understanding of, and ability to engage with, the theory and application of modern quantitative techniques. Focusing on money, banking and finance, you will be able to take a wide range of optional modules to specialise in your chosen area of interest. The experience you will gain will culminate in the creation and execution of a research project where you will practise the key analytical and technical skills relevant to your chosen subject.
