The University of Northampton’s Molecular Medicine MSc is aimed at individuals with prior knowledge of, or keen interest in, molecular medicine, genetics and genomics, and through our supportive environment you will develop your knowledge and understanding of key aspects of molecular medicine. You will have the opportunity to tailor your studies to your own interests through a selection of relevant modules.The Molecular Medicine MSc programme supports you to develop your knowledge and understanding and is aimed at individuals with prior knowledge of, or keen interest in, molecular medicine and genetics and genomics.Areas of focus include immunological cancers, diagnosis and mechanisms of bacterial infections and antimicrobial resistance, the pathology of neuromuscular disorders, neurological and neurodegenerative disease and the role of bioenergetics in health and disease.
You will need to have a minimum 2.2 class honours degree in a Biological Science from a UK university or international equivalent in order to be eligible to apply for the Molecular Medicine MSc course.
