This degree combines the study of foreign languages with linguistic theory. You choose two languages to study (Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Portuguese, Spanish) and will gain near-native fluency. You also study linguistics, concentrating on the structure, history and use of both the English language and your foreign languages.
