With around 19,000 students, from over 140 countries around the world, the University of the West of Scotland is one of Scotland’s biggest modern universities. Each year, around 600 postgraduate students choose to study at UWS. The location of their west of Scotland campuses in Ayr, Dumfries, Lanarkshire and Paisley means that they are the local university for over 30% of the population of central Scotland. However, their growing national and international reach saw them open their 5th UK campus in 2015, close to the centre of London to bring UWS qualifications to a new market. UWS have a proud record in delivering work-ready graduates and postgraduates and in developing effective partnerships with business, industry and the public and voluntary sectors.
