This course, with an accreditation by the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) and UNICEF UK Baby Friendly Initiative, will enable you to do just that. This course is validated by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), meeting their newest curriculum requirements for midwifery education. This course is also accredited by Unicef UK Baby Friendly Initiative with the Gold Award for achieving the Baby-Friendly sustainability standards. This demonstrates how the midwifery team at Bournemouth University have committed to long term implementation, maintenance and progression of the Baby-Friendly Standards. Please note that the Foundation Year part of the course does not have these accreditations. On this course you will be taught by a range of staff with relevant expertise and knowledge appropriate to the content of the unit.
