Overview
An opportunity for graduates with a non-midwifery undergraduate degree to enter a career in Midwifery as a registrant with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
Midwifery is a unique profession, providing a safe, respectful, caring and personalised service to women and their families from conception, antenatal care, labour and into the postpartum period.
Our curriculum is based on a philosophy of active student-centred learning, making use of the real-life context of practice.
Problem-Based learning is designed to support your development into an autonomous learner. This transfers well into clinical practice, thereby promoting research-based contemporary care.
You will develop into a practitioner who is competent and consistently delivers innovative, effective and excellent care.
