This course aims to empower you to become a compassionate, skilled, and culturally competent midwife, committed to providing excellent care to women and their families during a transformative time in their lives. * Our approach supports you to develop a strong sense of professional identity as a midwife from the outset* Prepares you to promote optimal maternal and newborn health outcomes, support informed decision-making, and advocate for social justice within diverse communities* Focus on one module at a time, with 5 weeks of learning followed by one week of assessment per module* 50% of your learning will take place in diverse practice-based learning environments, applying theoretical knowledge to real world practice while being supported by experienced registered professionals including practice supervisors, practice assessors, and practice development midwives.* Successful completion of this course makes you eligible to apply for professional registration as a midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)* All home students on this course can apply for a minimum payment from the government of £5,000 per year. You can apply for additional payments if you incur childcare costs.
