MICROBIOLOGY: - Microbiology is the study of all aspects of microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses and parasites including their identification, transmission, interaction with the host in disease and the growing problem of antimicrobial resistance. You’ll receive practical training in aspects of epidemiology at the Marine Biology Station at Millport in the Firth of Clyde.
Must include either Biology or Human Biology or Chemistry.Applicants will receive an offer conditional on attaining AAB. Applicants who achieve AAB are guaranteed entry. Applicants who achieve grades less than AAB but higher than BBB will be considered for entry.
Must include either Biology or Human Biology or Chemistry plus at least one further Science subject.
Acceptable in appropriate subject area. Must also have A-level Biology or Human Biology or Chemistry at grade B or above.
3 HL subjects at 6,6,5 including Biology or Human Biology or Chemistry plus one other Science subject. Whilst HL6 is preferred for Biology and the other Science subject, SL6 will be considered for ONE of the subjects.
