The best part is the lecture rooms but the older ones lack helpful tools such as easy to access plugs. The bad part is especially recently there aren't may places to sit down and revise in the day in between classes. The library is big but not big enough and one of the alternatives has been closed for work but a suitable alternative has not been given.

The University of Reading has a very green campus, it is good for taking a breather when not studying and there is even a private place called “Harris Gardens” that is especially beautiful in Spring and Autumn. As a student at the university, I love all aspect of uni life such as the wide range of sports and societies available that I am able to get involved in when I am not studying. My course is fun and enjoyable and the group classes really help me to blend in and enjoy learning things in a broader sense. There are lots of eatery that offers good food like burgers or fish and chips on some days and a lot of cafes around campus for a quite stop if you need to catch up on a drink. The one thing I enjoy the most is the library, there are big open study areas if you want to have a group study or if you are quieter type, there are quiet study areas where you can focus on assignments or just on your own. The buses are convenient too and you can get to the town Center within 15-20 mins and there are train links to London and beyond if you want an adventure. The only thing that I think can be improved is that I believe there should be more grocery shops available not only Co-Op since there are many students living on campus, the nearest supermarket is Asda which is 20 mins by bus from the Center of the uni; this may be a disadvantage as many may buy many things which they are not able to carry over a long distance. Other than that, I think the university is a great place to study

The campus is modern with high tech facilities including a newly renovated library and large scientific labs. Support is easy to reach for welfare and studies. As a swimmer it is a shame there is not a pool on campus and the university gym is rather small for the cohort of students who go there. The student union is a must.

Best experience are the support available and the part time jobs that we are able to do with a balance of studies. There is a wide range of societies and sports clubs that we are able to join if we want to try something new or just to carry on with a sport that you are passionate about. The campus is beautiful and all the staff are really helpful. I think some things can be improved like having charger facilities in the Hopkins building since everyone is on the phone nowadays, there is space for socialising. The RUSU can also be improved by providing more detailed information about taster sessions on sport and society events.
