Learn to translate cutting-edge research into products and services that will transform the way we diagnose and treat disease. Tapping into UCL's world-leading expertise in biomedical science and business, you will explore the latest medical innovations such as regenerative medicine, stem cell therapy and nanomedicine, while also - crucially - learning how to convert them into commercially feasible clinical products and services. Medical advances are changing the way we diagnose and treat disease. This degree gives you the mix of medical science and business skills you need to create companies and turn new medical opportunities into products that benefit patients and society.During your time with us, you'll take a deep dive into human health and disease, innovative medical technologies, entrepreneurship, and business management. The first year focuses on medical science. After this, you can choose from modules about specific medical technologies (such as gene therapy, tissue engineering, stem cells or nanomedicine), or focus on the business aspects of medical science.
