Its a lovley university, very inclusive and diverse so you'll fit in wherever you're from. Great teaching facilities, could improve in terms of accomodation facilities, they are lovley, a common room would make it better. Love this uni!!

My best aspects of Swansea is the people. They are so friendly and it’s really easy to make friends. The dining card has actually saved me in Uni. Worst aspect is freshers only being a week :( Swansea is a great place to study because the lecturers are very attentive and explain with great care and make sure people understand. They are always quick with emails whenever I have a question they respond quickly and it makes me understand.

Best Aspects: Learning and Assessment Come to Swansea university if you want to do well and get a good degree. You have ample academic support and most lecturers will respond to your emails and explain any topics further. The assessment are solid and are much better then any assessment sat during COVID-19 (coming from someone who did A-levels then). You will learn more and you will be satisfied. Worst Aspects: Facilities, support & safety Some facilities (especially singleton accommodation & HSV) are old and not sturdy however they will fix problems when asked (talking about on campus accommodation. They say they have mental health support and support with disabilities but the amount of hoops you've got to jump through is going to make you feel much worse. They have security round the clock but they are not good. On several occasions my friend have been followed home and called me to come intervene. Overall: Stay safe, you will learn a lot and student life (night life) is enjoyable, on par with Cardiff, Not a lot to do in city centre UNTIL the sunsets

When I had first arrived in Swansea University I was alone. I did not have a sense of belonging anywhere - be it place or a person. All of this changed during my stay in Swansea. This place - be it University or beyond - has a calming nature. Each season is peaceful, pleasantly predictable and lenient in terms of weather conditions. The city offers much in terms of history, entertainment and nutrition. The very stay is considered by me to be therapeutic. Lecturers and staff have some of the most dedicated, wise and friendly personnel out of any University in UK or Poland. Lecture halls are well equipped, cleaned and maintained, leading to each lecture being undertaken with a maximal efficiency. Swansea University may have its problems at an administrative level but those had never interfered with lives of average students.

Swansea University is good at its outstanding research, gorgeous campus, and diversified programmes. Facility enhancements, improved diversity initiatives, and enhanced career services could all be areas for development.

Swansea University is extremely welcoming and I have found that they always go above and beyond to help students and they really focus on wellbeing. Despite how many students there are, it feels personal and like a community. Swansea as a city is nice, people are very friendly and it is very peaceful studying next to the sea. Some of the facilities are dated and could be better however, I feel as though this is made up for with support and teaching quality. Lecturers are always happy to help and the university services are very approachable and can't do enough to help. The night life is very goof for the size of the city and feels safe. Overall would definitely recommend if you want a university that genuinely want the best for you and where you know you'll be looked after.
