Study the media's economic, cultural, and historical contexts, and learn how to navigate the industry. The Foundation Year has been designed to prepare you for entry on to the degree. Later in your degree, a work placement offers invaluable industry exposure. Our partnerships with regional media networks like Screen Yorkshire’s Connected Campus provide access to bootcamps, masterclasses, and guest speakers.
