MA Media Production will give you the skills, knowledge, experience, and confidence to be employable in the film, TV, and media industry, either in one or multiple professional roles. The course is made up of four core practical modules and it has been awarded the ScreenSkills Select accreditation. The course aims to stretch your creativity and maximise your sense of personal fulfilment.Throughout the course you will work on a range of projects and develop your practical production skills in areas including screenwriting, camera, sound, editing, lighting, colour grading, producing and directing. Your learning experience will be greatly enhanced by our lecturing team who are experts in their areas of specialism and by our first-class equipment including specialised cameras, sound recording equipment, movement rigs, and professional editing software packages such as Avid Media Composer and Avid Protools.
We usually require applicants to hold an honours degree in a related discipline. We may ask you to undertake a short course that covers essential skills and knowledge, before you join the main Masters course. Our typical offer is 57% - 60% from a recognised university, a 3 year (4 year for Engineering) graduation degree from an AICTE / UGC recognised University.
