Study Media and English Literature with us and you will learn practical and transferable skills to equip you for an exciting career in the media or related fields, as well as knowledge of literature and writing which could open up a range of wider career opportunities.You will have the chance to explore radio and video production, digital and social media, journalism, public relations, branding and marketing, as well as a range of literature from the Middle Ages to contemporary fiction, creative and professional writing.You will learn from experienced industry professionals, leading academics, and published writers.We offer a varied and flexible degree, so you can shape your course to match your career goals as well as developing your own interests.You can choose media topics including creative media practice, radio and video production, digital and social media, journalism, public relations including strategy, branding and marketing, media theory, media law and film. You can combine these with English Literature topics including gothic and genre fiction, gender and culture, renaissance literature, national and global literatures, modernity and contemporary writing, 19th century literature, creative writing and professional writing.Our Media and English graduates are truly international and are employed around the world.
