We are one of the first in the UK to setup a Smart Factory using Cyber Physical technologies, and our key partners for the course include Siemens and Festo, both who are leading the revolution around digitalisation and Smart Factories.

The interdisciplinary nature of the course means you'll have opportunities in a variety of employment sectors.
Students need to have a second class honours degree 2:2 or above in computer science, science or engineering. We also encourage applications from experienced engineers or graduates from wider engineering disciplines. Students with other degrees are welcome to apply provided they can demonstrate appropriate levels of relevant experience. Students without formal qualifications need to demonstrate relevant work experience and the ability to study at postgraduate level. We also normally require Grade C GCSE or an equivalent qualification.
