In the first two years of your course, you’ll cover fundamental concepts in mechatronic and robotic areas, including mathematics, intelligent system design, computing, control, electronics and embedded systems. In your third year you’ll put into practice what you’ve learnt on your industrial placement, before returning to Sheffield for your final year of study.This four-year BEng will develop your engineering skills across key areas of mechatronics and robotics, including mechanical design, electronics, computing, intelligent systems and control. You'll use industry-standard equipment and learn about state-of-the-art applications in robotics, industrial control and advanced manufacturing.Our courses share a common first year.
